Voyence Acquired By EMC
Richardson, Texas-based Voyence has been acquired by data storage giant EMC, EMC said Tuesday. EMC did not disclose financial terms of the deal. Voyence is a provider of network configuration and change management software, used by IT administrators to manage their networks. EMC said the acquisition is not expected to have a material impact on revenues or EPS for 2007. Voyence will become part of EMC's Resource Management Software business unit. Voyence was venture backed by BancBoston Ventures, Canaan Partners, CenterPoint Ventures, HO2 Partners, Interwest Partners, Sevin Rosen Funds, and StarTech Early Ventures.
