SoftLayer Expands In Seattle

Dallas, Texas-based web-hosting service provider SoftLayer reported Monday that it has opened a new datacenter located in Seattle. SoftLayer, which did not disclose the exact size of the new data center, said that it has 1,000 servers at the new location available to its customers. The firm said that customers will be able to select either Seattle or Dallas as the location for their hosted services.
