GENBAND Ties Into Telecommunications Equipment Firm

Plano-based GENBAND, which develops media gateways and applications for the telecommunications market, said earlier this week that it has completed interoperability testing with ZTE, a provider of telecommunications equipment. The two companies have tested interoperability between GENBAND's M6 Communications Applications Server and ZTE's ZIMSTM product. GENBAND's product provides voice over IP and multimedia for broadband networks. ZTE is a Chinese manufacturer of equipment for the telcommunications industry.
