ACS Buys Healthcare Data Analytics Firm

Dallas-based Affiliated Computer Services said this morning that it has acquired Bowers & Associates, a provider of care and productivity management services and analytics. The deal is worth $8M plus earnout. Bowers & Associates, which is based in Wisconsin, provides modeling, profiling, reporting, and health risk prediction tools, and had revenues over the last 12 months worth approximately $6M. According to ACS, all of Bowers' employees will transition to the firm.
