BancTec Acquires DocuData Solutions

BancTec, a Dallas-based developer of payment-processing software, announced Tuesday that it has acquired longtime client DocuData Solutions, a business process outsourcing services provider specializing in imaging, content management and media storage. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. With the acquisition, BancTec said it added three Texas-based processing centers to its existing BPO network of four U.S. and 11 European locations. DocuData has facilities in Dallas, Houston and Austin. BancTec said its new property will continue to be known as DocuData Solutions and will operate as a division of BancTec. Brian Rathe, DocuData’s president, will report to Michael D. Fallin, senior vice president and president of BancTec's Americas and Emerging Markets.
