Diamond IT Acquires Trinsic Solutions, Changes Name

Diamond IT Services announced Tuesday that it has acquired Trinsic Solutions, an Austin-based provider of information technology support services. In a related move, Diamond IT, which also provides managed IT services, said it has formally changed its corporate name to Trinsic Technologies Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2003, Trinsic Solutions offered desktop support, network monitoring, security management and data backup services to small businesses throughout the Austin area. Trinsic Technologies—the company formerly known as Diamond IT—was established in 2004 and is also headquartered in Austin.
