SXSW Interactive Kicks Off

SXSW Interactive, South by Southwest's gathering for technology and new media entrepreneurs, kicks off in Austin today. The event is expected to attract more than 6,000 people from the technology industry. SXSW runs from Friday until Tuesday at the Austin Convention Center, and will include keynotes from such tech notables as Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, hundreds of individual panels, not to mention informal gatherings, parties, and other get togethers. The entire SXSW conference runs until March 16th.
