Localeur Offers Up Locals Guide To SXSW Attendees
There is always a huge rush around this time of the year--ahead of South By Southwest--to launch new products catering to the techno-hip crowd attending the Austin event every year. However, one local, Austin startup--which already specializes in offering up local recommendations on restaurants, bars, and activities nationwide--might just have the definitive guide to where to go and what to see in Austin this year during SXSW. Localeur--which was founded by former Bazaarvoice employees Chase White and Joah Spearman, and has the backing of such local angels Chris Shonk, Clayton Christopher (Sweet Leaf Tea), Travis Devitt, (WP Engine, Bazaarvoice), Ken Cho (People Pattern, Spredfast), and Joe Ross (CSID, Grande Communications)--said it is rolling out its, SXSW guide ahead of SXSW next month. The company said its Ultimate Local's Guide to SXSW Austin will offer up authentic, local recomendations from its community of local insiders to avoid tourist traps and get the full local experience at SXSW.
