ReachView Acquired By Alcatel-Lucent

Communications services provider Alcatel-Lucent announced Monday that it has agreed to acquire ReachView Technologies, a service assurance consulting and integration firm with offices in Atlanta and Dallas. Terms of the deal, which is expected to close April 1, were not disclosed. The purchase, Alcatel-Lucent explained, will enhance its current professional services consulting practice, particularly with respect to OSS/BSS and software integration. ReachView Technologies employs some 85 people. Ian Bresnahan, ReachView's chief executive officer, and two principle partners, Todd Cochran and Josh Shipman, will remain with Alcatel-Lucent once the acquisition is complete. Headquartered in Paris, Alcatel-Lucent maintains operations in more than 130 countries and reported gross revenues of $27.4 billion in 2007.
