Click Forensics Hires CEO

Austin, Texas-based Click Forensics, which provides click fraud prevention and monitoring products, said today that it has appointed Paul Pellman to the positoin of CEO. Pellman joins the firm from Austin Ventures, where he was Entrepreneur in Residence. Pellman has previously served as VP of Marketing at Hoover's, along with prior experience at Terra Lycos and a number of unnamed startups. Existing CEO and co-founder Tom Cuthbert will continue on as President of the firm. Click Forensics is developing services and software for tracking and detecting click fraud on pay-per-click (PPC) advertising networks; the firm recently raised $10M in a Series B funding round from Sierra Ventures, Austin Ventures and Shasta Ventures.
