Tyler Tech Wins Contract from Maryland Town

Dallas-based Tyler Technologies Inc., a provider of information management services for local governments, revealed Monday that it has received a financial management software contract from the city of Hagerstown, Md. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Tyler said the contract includes related professional services, maintenance and support in addition to software licenses. Specifically, Hagerstown will use a range of applications from Tyler's MUNIS financial and human resource product suites. The city also purchased MUNIS revenue models and will employ several integrated modules for reporting and customer service. Founded in 1762, Hagerstown boasts a population of 39,000 and is the seat for Washington County.
