NetEffect Announces HP BladeSystem Adapter

Austin-based NetEffect, a developer of 10Gb Ethernet adapters, said Monday that it has rolled out a new, 10Gb Ethernet adapter for HP's blade computing product, HP BladeSystem. According to NetEffect its NE020BSC is a Type I, fully accelerated 10Gb Ethernet mezzanine adapter. The firm said the device provides quad-port, 1GbE support with in-field upgrades to dual-port 10Gb. The new adapter is available to customers starting at $895.
