NetEffect Creates New Channel Program

Austin, Texas-based NetEffect, a manufacturer of Ethernet networking products, revealed Wednesday that it has created a multi-tier channel program that addresses an increasing demand for 10-gigabit Ethernet solutions in the data center. NetEffect said the new program already has three program participants: Verari Systems, a manufacturer of scalable, platform-independent rack- and blade-based servers; Concurrent, a developer of Linux-based operating systems and software; and Western Scientific, a manufacturer of UNIX-based computing and storage devices. NetEffect explained that its channel program comprises systems integrators, value-added resellers and original-equipment manufacturers.
