BelAir Networks Wins Belgian Telecom Account
BelAir Networks, a Houston-based provider of mobile broadband mesh networks, revealed Tuesday that a Belgian wireless solutions provider, Citymesh NV, has adapted BelAir Networks' wireless mesh network technology for its broadband wireless mesh network. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. BelAir said Citymesh specializes in building large-scale wireless broadband networks for city coverage, leisure parks and off-shore locations. Citymesh is deploying BelAir's mesh networks to support high-speed Internet access, voice over IP, video and data services and telemetry applications. Founded in 2006, Citymesh is headquartered in Bruges, Belgium. BelAir Networks is a privately held company that was established in 2001.
