FiveRuns Upgrades Software

Austin-based FiveRuns, a developer of software for monitoring Ruby on Rails applications, said today that it has rolled out a public beta of its FiveRuns Manage 2.0 software. According to the firm, the new software has added ability to aggregate metrics across server clusters; added new monitoring for PostgresSQL and other database and OS applications; triggers and event notification; graphs, and other features. FiveRuns is venture backed by Austin Ventures.
