FiveRuns Shuts Manage Product

Austin-based FiveRuns, a developer of Ruby-on-Rails management tools, told its users last night that it is ending operations of its FiveRuns Manage product. The firm said that the tool will shut down on August 25th, with monitoring stopping on August 19th. Reason for the shutdown of the service was not given by the firm. FiveRuns recommended that users uninstall its client and Rails plugin "as soon as possible" and instead turn to alternative projects like Scout. FiveRuns launched its FiveRuns Manage software in May of 2007, and the software was one of its key product.
