ACS Lands $156M Tennessee Medicaid Contract

Dallas-based IT consulting and business process outsourcing firm Affiliated Computer Services Inc. revealed Monday that it has received a five-year, $156 million service contract from the state of Tennessee’s Medicaid program. Specifically, ACS said it will provide daily operations, data management and ongoing systems modifications for TennCare's Management Information System, which the state uses to manage its Medicaid program. ACS said it will also evaluate TennCare's current business processes and make recommendations for improved efficiency. ACS added that it is partnering with a Nashville-based, minority-owned IT staffing company, Zycron.
