Ignite! Learning Appoints CEO

Middle school curriculum provider Ignite! Learning Inc. reported Tuesday that it has promoted Alan Davis to president and chief executive officer. Davis was previously the Austin, Texas-based company's executive vice president of technology and curriculum. He has also supervised global business development and engineering during his seven years with Ignite! Prior to that, the company said, Davis worked for various Fortune 500 and smaller enterprises, managing technical services and related organizations. Ignite! said its curriculum reaches more than 300,000 students throughout some 250 school districts across the United States.
