BMC Software Trumpets BladeLogic Growth

Houston-based BMC Software announced this morning that BladeLogic, the firm which it acquired this April, has been named the fastest-growing IT Operations Management (ITOM) software vendor by industry analyst firm Gartner. BladeLogic is a provider of software used for configuration, provisioning, and management of servers. BMC paid $800M for BladeLogic in March. The firm said that BladeLogic has seen a nearly 90 percent year over year growth.
