GlobalSCAPE Loses CFO, Interim President
San Antonio-based GlobalSCAPE, a publicly held provider of wide area file service technology and other products, said Thursday that the firm's CFO and Interim President, Kelly E. Simmons, has resigned from the firm. Reasons for the resignation were not given. GlobalSCAPE said that David Mann, a member of the firm's board, will become President of the firm. The firm, which was already searching for a permanent CEO, said Mann will act in that position until a CEO is found. GlobalSCAPE develops software used for accelerating file transfers, including the CuteFTP file transfer software.
