Active Power Gets UK Win

Austin-based Active Power, a manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies, said earlier this week that it has received an order form Star Technology Services, an internet service provider in the United Kingdom. According to Active Power, Star will install the firm's PowerHouse products as part of a new mission critical data center, expected to go live in 2009. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed.
