FiveRuns Extends Partnership

Austin-based FiveRuns, which develops Ruby On Rails software tools, said Friday that the firm has expanded a partnership it has with BitRock. According to FiveRuns, BitRock, which also develops open source tools and stacks, will include the firm's FiveRuns TuneUp profiling tool in BitRock's BitNami RubyStack distribution of Ruby on Rails. BitNami RubyStack is a ready-to-install version of the open source Ruby On Rails development environment. FiveRuns' product is used by developers to optimize and tune their software code.
