Sabre Holdings Acquires EB2 International

Southlake, Texas-based Sabre Holdings Corp., operators of Travelocity.com and other travel-oriented Web sites and services, announced Thursday that it has acquired EB2 International Ltd. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Headquartered in London, EB2 publishes e-commerce software for international airlines. Sabre said EB2 will become a part of Sabre Airline Solutions, a Sabre subsidiary that provides decision-support and reservations software and services to airlines. According to Sabre, the EB2 acquisition will yield the industry's "most powerful" Internet travel-booking engine.
