Uplogix Hires Taps Wayport's Kieley As CFO

Uplogix Inc., a manufacturer of remotely managed network appliances, reported Wednesday that Ken Kieley has come aboard as chief financial officer. Kieley, Uplogix said, hails from Wayport Inc., which telecommunications giant AT&T acquired late last year. At Wayport, Kieley served as chief financial officer. Before that, Uplogix noted, Kieley was vice president of finance and CFO for Netsolve Inc., which was eventually bought by Cisco Systems. Uplogix added that Kieley began his career at Ernst & Young. Uplogix is privately held and headquartered in Austin.
