Handango Taps Bloom As CEO

Las Colinas-based Handango, a provider of smart phone applications for the mobile phone market, said Thursday that it has promoted Alex Bloom from Vice President of Content and International, to CEO and President. Bloom replaces current CEO and President Bill Stone, who was tapped today to head up Qualcomm's FLO TV unit. Stone will remain on the board of directors of Handango. Handango is a provider of mobile applications, including ringtones, games, business applications, and other tools for a variety of smart phones.
