Pluck Wins Publisher of U.K.’s Daily Mirror

Pluck Corp. revealed Monday that it has won the business of Trinity Mirror PLC, a U.K.-based newspaper and new media publisher. According to Pluck, Trinity Mirror has chosen Pluck's SiteLife suite of social media tools to improve reader interaction among its Web properties. As one of the United Kingdom's largest media outlets, Trinity Mirror operates five national newspapers, more than 150 regional newspapers and 400-plus Web sites, including Mirror.co.uk and DailyRecord.co.uk. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Pluck is a subsidiary of Demand Media, a privately held firm based in Santa Monica, Calif., and founded in May 2006.
