CyrusOne Expands Dallas, Houston Data Centers
CyrusOne reported earlier this week that it has expanded its Dallas-area data center. The Houston-based colocation services provider said it is adding 81,000 square feet to its existing 80,000-square-foot facility in Lewisville, a Metroplex suburb. Additionally, CyrusOne said it plans to ramp up its 125,000-square-foot Houston campus by adding two new data halls covering some 25,000 square feet. The expansions, CyrusOne explained, are the result of a strong demand for data center space in Texas markets. ABRY Partners, a Boston-based private equity investment firm, acquired CyrusOne in 2007.
