Neverfail In OEM License With VMware

Austin-based NeverFail, a provider of disaster recovery and high availability software, said Tuesday that the firm has licensed the firm's technology to virtualization software maker VMware. Financial impact of the OEM license were not disclosed, however, NEverfail said that its continuous availability technology and application management framework software has been incorporated into VMware's new vCenter Server Heartbeat product. That product provides automatic failover of VMware's vCenter Server, a software component used for managing VMware-based virtual machines.
