Neverfail Upgrades HA Software, Adds VMware Support

Austin-based Neverfail, a developer of high availability and failover software for the enterprise, has upgraded its flagship product, and also added support for VMware virtualization software. According to Neverfail, it has added a new product called Neverfail vAppHA, which provides cotninous availability for Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server running on VMware operating systems. According to the firm, it integrates with VMware VMotion, which allows the software to restart virtual machines or migrate them to new hosts when a availability or performance issue is detected. Separately, Neverfail said it is now at version 6.0 of its flagship Neverfail software, which adds new modules for WAN acceleration, three-tier failover, and more.
