ACS Gets $67M Hospital Contract

Dallas-based Affiliated Computer Services revealed Wednesday that it has secured a $67 million, seven-year contract from a California health care district. The Dallas-based business process outsourcing firm said it will provide Marin General Hospital with strategic consulting and outsourced services. ACS added that it will deploy an enterprise-wide hospital information and electronic medical record system while also outsourcing the hospital's IT department and providing the business office with complete revenue cycle services. Marin General is the largest acute care hospital in California's Marin County.
