CyrusOne Expands In Austin
Houston-based CyrusOne, a provider of server colocation services, said Wednesday that the firm has acquired a 50,000 square foot facility in Austin to build a new data center. According to the firm, the new long term lease is for a location in The MetCenter. CyrusOne said the center will initially be anchored by two clients, both in the energy industry. The new center brings the company's total number of data center in Texas to six, totaling 380,000 square feet. The firm's other facilities are in Houston and Dallas.
