INX Gains $980K Contract
Houston-based INX revealed Tuesday that it has won a contract worth nearly $1 million to provide a North Carolina school district with environmentally friendly infrastructure for a new green campus. INX said the $980,000 contract will involve deploying communications infrastructure for Cherokee Central Schools' new, 470,000-square-foot campus currently being built in Cherokee, N.C. INX explained that the infrastructure will supply voice and data services to the campus' teachers, faculty and staff. INX added that it will also install a campus-wide wireless networking service. INX said the project should be completed by the end of the month, whereupon it will provide remote support for the school for one year.
