GlobalSCAPE Gains Army Subcontract
San Antonio-based GlobalSCAPE reported this morning that the firm is part of a $42.3M contract for the U.S. Army. According to GlobalSCAPE, it is a subcontractor on the McLane Advanced Technologies team which won the contract, alongside Northrop Grumman Information Systems, Logistics and Technology Services (LTS), CALIBRE Systems, HCI Integrated Solutions, SAIC, and Joint Logistics Managers. The firm said its Secure FTP Server and CuteFTP are being used as part of a secure information exchange product being used in the army's Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS-E). GlobalSCAPE did not say what the financial impact of the contract win was on the firm.
