Entrust Passes Merger Milestone
Dallas-based Entrust reported Wednesday that the waiting period for the acquisition of the firm by private equity firm Thoma, Bravo LLC, has expired under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976. The waiting period, is mandated in certain mergers and acquisitions. Entrust announced in April that it would go private in the acquisition by Thoma Bravo, in a deal worth $114M. Entrust said that it still needs the approval of it stockholders and satisfaction or waiver of other conditions in the deal.
