OnAsset Closes First Private Investment

OnAsset Intelligence, an Irving-based developer of wireless asset-tracking devices and related software, announced today that it has secured an investment from entrepreneur Pete Wittmann, an Excel Communications investment partner. The specific amount of the funding, which OnAsset said represents its first private investment round, was not disclosed. OnAsset described Wittman as a telecommunications industry pioneer and said it will use his funds to bolster the manufacturing capabilities of its flagship SENTRY wireless telemetry product line. OnAsset added that it will also apply the money toward the continued scaling of its software-as-a-service OnAsset Platform. More information »
