OnAsset Ropes In American Airlines Cargo

Fort Worth-based OnAsset Intelligence, which develops GPS- and sensor-based tracking devices for the cargo industry, has roped in another air carrier: American Airlines Cargo. OnAsset said American Airlines Cargo will be offering up a program with OnAsset, to allow shippers, freight forwarders and couriers, to add a tracking device to shipments, for monitoring from point of origin to destination. American said the device will be available to U.S. domestic and international shipments on American, starting today. OnAsset's devices monitor temperature, pressure, shock, location and vibration. Cost of the new option on American was not announced by the companies.
