HomeAway Gets New York Times Win
Austin-based HomeAway.com, operator of a vacation rental Web site, revealed this morning that it has added the New York Times newspaper as a client. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to HomeAway, it will provide The New York Times' Web site, NYTimes.com, with vacation rental listings. As a result, HomeAway said, visitors to NYTimes.com can search and compare rental properties across the globe. They will also have access to property reviews, HomeAway noted. Headquartered in Austin, HomeAway is a privately held company backed by Austin Ventures, Institutional Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Technology Crossover Ventures and Trident Capital.
