ThePlanet Signs ContentActive

IT infrastructure hosting firm The Planet revealed Tuesday that it has signed fellow Houston-based business ContentActive as a client. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Founded in 2003, ContentActive provides Web site and communications solutions, including content and document management, hosting, and search engine marketing and optimization services. The Planet quoted Brian Gaubert, ContentActive's chief executive officer, as saying his company selected The Planet after vetting several hosting providers. Serviceability, pricing and network quality factored in the decision.
