Vignette Acquisition Clears Regulatory Hurdle

The acquisition of Austin-based Vignette by Open Text has cleared a regulatory hurdle, the firms said last night, when the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) said that there were no national security concerns with respect to Open Text's acquisition of Vignette. The deal between Vignette and Open Text is worth $317M in cash and stock. Open Text announced its acquisition of Vignette in May.
