Absolute Software Opens Austin Headquarters
Canadian software firm Absolute Software, which develops computer theft recovery and data protection software, said this morning that it has opened up a new U.S. headquarters in Austin. The firm said the new offices will house its U.S.-based sales team and Consumer business. As part of the establishment of the new headquarters, Absolute said it would be hiring at the location. Absolute develops Computrace and Computrace LoJack, which uses BIOS-based firmware and Internet connections to track PCs, laptops, and other computers, and enables remote data deletion and tracking. Absolute is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
