Alert Logic Unearths Rosetta Stone Win

Houston-based Alert Logic, a publisher of hosted IT compliance and security software, said today that it has signed language-learning specialist Rosetta Stone Inc. as a client. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to Alert Logic, Rosetta Stone has implemented Alert Logic's Threat Manager and Log Manager software-as-a-service applications in order to help safeguard its network against threats, and specifically to help the firm comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI), a major security requirement for companies accepting credit cards.
