Convey Computer Gets $24M In Series B
Richardson-based Convey Computer confirmed today that it has closed on $24.15M in a Series B financing round, which was led by Braemer Energy Ventures. The funding, which was disclosed in a regulatory filing last week, also included prior investors CenterPoint Ventures, Intel Capital, InterWest Partners, Rho Ventures, and Xilinx. Braemer's Jiong Ma and Rho Ventures' Joshua Ruch join the board along with the firm's funding. Convey is developing hybrid-core processors which boost the performance and reduce energy cost. The firm's founders previously founded Convex Computer Corporation, which they sold to HP in 1995
