Convey Computer Ties With Genomics Software Firm
Richardson-based Convey Computer, which develops hybrid-core processors and computers for the high speed computing (HPC) market, reported today that it has integrated its product with CLC bio, a provider of enterprise genomics analysis platforms. According to the two, they have integrated CLC's genomics analysis platform on Convey's hybrid-core servers, as part of an installation at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) in Braunschweig, Germany. Financial impact of the win were not disclosed. Convey's technology is aimed at big data, life sciences, government, and other computing intensive tasks. Convey is venture backed by Braemer Energy Ventures, CenterPoint Ventures, Intel Capital, InterWest Partners, Rho Ventures, and Xilinx.
