Wintegra Teams On Ethernet Support
Austin-based Wintegra, a developer of network processors used for developing networking, wireless, and broadband equipment, disclosed this morning that it has linked with Asidua, a developer of software for the telecom market. The two said they will provide a new family of Carrier-Class Ethernet Control Plane Stacks for Wintegra's processors. The new software stacks are used by developers to implement Ethernet services, including IP DSLAMs, mobile backhaul, and PON/FTTH/FTTC products. The firms said that Wintegra's customers can license the new software from Asidua.
