Black Sand Confirms $10M Series B

Austin-based Black Sand Technologies confirmed this morning that the firm has raised $10M in a Series B funding round. According to Black Sand, the round was led by Northbridge Venture Partners, and also included Austin Ventures. The new round of funding brings the company's total raised to $18.2M. Black Sand is developing 3G, CMOS RF power Amplifiers targeted at the mob ile phone market. The firm said the funding will go towards bringing its power amplifiers into mass production, plus for development of additional products. More information »
