TI, Enfora Link Efforts

Dallas-based Texas Instruments and Richardson-based Enfora are in a joint initiative focused on wireless asset management, the firms said Monday. According to Ti and Enfora, they have expanded their efforts in developing solutions for the smart grid and logistics/supply chain market. Financial details of the collaboration were not announced. However, the firms said they would link TI's GPS, low power wireless, and microcontroller technology with Enfora's wireless products, which are used for asset management.
