GameStop Gears Up For Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Launch

Grapevine-based GameStop is gearing up for the launch of the latest Call of Duty gaming title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, saying it is opening up its locations at midnight Monday. The firm said it will open up 4,250 of its stores as part of a midnight launch of the first person shooter game, which is the largest number of stores opened up by the game retailer in its history. GameStop said it is anticipating the release of the game will be the biggest launch of a video game this year, and the biggest launch in its history. The new title is being releasd for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Windows.
