The Planet Taps Dell For New Storage Offering

Houston-based IT hosting firm The Planet is expanding its storage options for its dedicated hosting customers today, saying it has tapped Dell for its PowerVault MD3000i disk array. The Planet said the array, an iSCSI disk array with support for up to 45 terabytes, is now available to its dedicated hosting customers using virtual and private racks. Pricing on the new offering was not released.
