Dell Sells Polish Factory

Round Rock-based Dell is continuing to pare its manufacturing operations, saying late Wednesday that it is selling its Polish Lodz manufacturing operations to Foxconn Technology Group. Dell said it would transfer current Dell employees in the location to Foxconn, with the firm becoming a customer of Foxconn's manufacturing services in the country. Financial details of the sale were not disclosed. Dell manufactures desktop, notebook, server, and storage systems at the Lodz location.
