Lombardi Software Acquired by IBM

IBM said Wednesday that it is buying Austin-based Lombari a developer of business process management software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. IBM said that Lombari's software would complement the firm's WebSphere software. Neither IBM nor Lombardi detailed the effect of the acquisition on Lombardi's Austin operations.
